Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has played down discussions around Manchester City as the Premier League title race intensifies, insisting his side remain focused only on their own performances.
Arteta spoke after Arsenal secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Everton in Saturday’s late kick-off.
Viktor Gyokeres scored the decisive goal from the penalty spot to hand the Gunners all three points.
The win moved Arsenal to 39 points, two clear of second-placed Manchester City, who earlier cruised to a 3-0 win over West Ham.
Asked after the match about City’s pressure in the title race, Arteta dismissed the comparison.
“We are not looking at that. I know you guys do,” he said.
“The only thing we can control is our own performance and results. We know how long it’s going to be and how tough this league is.
“Enjoy every day, do your best, and see what we’re going to get.”
