The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling party.
The disclosure was made by the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, during the party’s 14th National Caucus meeting held at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja.
Yilwatda, who also hails from Plateau State, said the development further strengthens the APC’s political dominance in the region.
According to him, Governor Mutfwang’s defection means the APC now controls all the states in the North Central geopolitical zone.
