President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday presided over a meeting of the National Caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja ahead of 2027 elections.
The gathering is the party’s second National Caucus meeting in 2025, following an earlier session held on February 25.
It is also the first caucus meeting since Professor Nentawe Yilwatda assumed office as the national chairman of the ruling party in July.
The meeting comes days after the APC adjusted the schedule of its National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings from December 15–16 to December 18–19. The NEC meeting is now expected to be held on Friday at the Presidential Villa.
In attendance are serving and former APC governors, senior party leaders, and principal officers of the National Assembly.
