Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has dismissed claims that he is the biological father of a teenage girl who recently requested a DNA test to establish her paternity.
The singer stated that he has never had any personal relationship with the girl’s mother, noting that his first and only contact with both of them was during the DNA testing process.
Davido disclosed that five separate DNA tests were conducted at different medical facilities. He explained that he personally selected three of the hospitals, while the remaining two were chosen by the girl and her mother.
According to him, all five test results consistently confirmed that he is not the child’s biological father.
Describing the situation as emotionally draining, Davido accused the girl’s mother of acting inappropriately but stressed that he holds no resentment toward the teenager involved.
He added that he would not comment further on the issue, insisting that the matter should be regarded as resolved based on the medical evidence.
“This is the last time I will speak on this matter”, he said.
