Opta’s SuperComputer has maintained its prediction that Arsenal will clinch the 2025/26 Premier League title, despite the Gunners suffering a 3–2 home defeat to Manchester United on Sunday.
A spectacular long-range effort from Matheus Cunha brought Arsenal’s unbeaten home run to an end and trimmed their lead at the summit to four points, following victories for Manchester City and Aston Villa over the weekend.
Even so, Opta still rates Mikel Arteta’s side as clear favourites to lift the trophy, which would be their first league title in more than two decades.
According to the projections, Arsenal have an 84.44 per cent chance of finishing top. Manchester City are next with an 8.38 per cent probability, while Aston Villa stand at 7.09 per cent. Liverpool’s chances are rated at under one per cent.
With 15 matches remaining in the campaign, the title race is set for a tense run-in.
