Sammy, the brother to Nollywood star Regina Daniels, has been released on bail after spending several days in detention. He was reportedly granted bail in the sum of N5 million on Monday, November 10, 2025.
Nigerian Newssphere had earlier reported that Sammy was remanded at the Keffi Prison by a Dutse Magistrate Court last Thursday before being transferred to Suleja Prison.
His elder brother, Sweezzy, confirmed the development in a celebratory post shared on Instagram. He wrote:
“Sammy you are a great man. Bail has been granted! Nigerians thank you.”
Sammy was arrested in Lagos a week ago following a complaint allegedly filed by Senator Ned Nwoko. His arrest is believed to be linked to the ongoing public fallout and messy breakup involving Regina Daniels and the senator.
