The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has cautioned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over an impending wave of protests he says could destabilize the current administration.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele warned that the protests would begin quietly in five states before escalating into a nationwide movement if not promptly addressed.
According to the cleric, the demonstrations are part of a broader strategy aimed at unseating the president and could have severe consequences for the nation’s economy. He urged the federal government to treat the warning seriously and act proactively.
“It’s going to be a massive protest, and it will start with five states,” Ayodele said. “This is part of the strategies to remove the president if he is not careful. The protest could shut down the economy, so it must not be taken for granted.”
The prophet further advised President Tinubu to pay close attention to security intelligence, particularly reports from the Department of State Services (DSS), noting that early warning signs would precede the protests.
He also alleged that some former leaders are working behind the scenes to destabilize the current government.
“The protest will begin gradually, and the government may not take it seriously at first,” he added. “That is why the president must listen to security agencies, especially the DSS. Some former heads of government are plotting against this administration to weaken it.”
