Iran confirms strike on Netanyahu amid alleged death rumor of Israel’s PM

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for a strike on the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to Tukiye Today.

The IRGC said the attack also targeted a separate location where the commander of the Israeli Air Force was reportedly present at the time.

Despite the claim, there has been no official confirmation regarding Netanyahu’s condition, amid circulating rumors suggesting he may have been killed in the strike. Israeli authorities have yet to issue a statement addressing the speculation.

In a statement, the IRGC said the operation formed part of the “10th wave” of attacks and involved the use of Kheybar Shekan ballistic missiles.

“The office of the criminal Israeli PM, Netanyahu, and the location of the regime’s Air Force commander were struck in targeted and surprise attacks by Kheybar Shekan ballistic missiles during the 10th wave,” the IRGC said, adding that further details would be released in the coming hours.

In a separate development, Israel’s military announced it had killed two senior Iranian intelligence officials inside Iran. However, it did not comment on the reported strike on Netanyahu’s office.

The Israeli military identified the officials as Sayed Yahya Hamidi and Jalal Pour Hussein, described as the head of the espionage division at Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence.

According to the military, the two men were “senior terrorists,” and other high-ranking figures were also neutralized during the operation.

Recall that President Donald Trump of the United States confirmed that 48 Iranian leaders, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, were killed in a US-Israel strike at the weekend.
