Nigerian comedienne Princess has appealed to prominent pastors, including Femi Lazarus, Phillip Olubakin, Bolaji Idowu, Jerry Eze, and Apostle Selman, to help her find a suitable husband from within their congregations.
Princess made the appeal in an emotional video shared on her Instagram page, where she openly asked the clerics to allow God to use them for her marital breakthrough.
The divorced entertainer said she had prayed and fasted before summoning the courage to record and share the video publicly.
Addressing the pastors directly, she questioned whether none of the churches under their leadership had a responsible and kind man who could be introduced to her for marriage.
Explaining her decision to speak out, Princess said she was tired of waiting and pleaded with the five clerics to spare 30 minutes to review the list of single men in their churches who are in their 40s or early 50s and connect her with a potential partner.
Nigerian Newssphere recalls that the comedian, whose real name is Oluwadamilola Adekoya, got married in May 2013 but divorced barely two weeks later due to irreconcilable differences.
“Pastor Femi Lazarus, Phillip Olubakin, Bolaji Idowu, Jerry Eze, and Apostle Selman, are you saying that in all your church, there’s no man that’s responsible and kind to link me up with?
“That’s why I’m doing this video because I’m tired. I’m begging the five of you, spare me 30 minutes to go through the list of single men in your church that are in their 40s or early 50s and connect me with for marriage.”
The video has since sparked mixed reactions on social media.
