Wolves head coach Rob Edwards has praised Tolu Arokodare for his performance in the club’s 3-1 defeat to Chelsea at Molineux.
Chelsea stormed into a commanding three-goal lead in the first half, powered by a historic hat trick from Cole Palmer.
Arokodare pulled one back for the hosts in the 54th minute, scoring Wolves’ only goal of the match. It was the Nigeria international’s second goal of the Premier League season.
Edwards commended the striker’s work rate and overall contribution despite the disappointing result.
“Great for him (Arokodare). Really, really good. He did some really good things today and worked hard for the team,” Edwards said after the game.
The 24-year-old forward has now featured in 20 league matches for Wolves this season.
