Chelsea have officially parted ways with head coach Enzo Maresca, ending his stint at Stamford Bridge amid escalating tensions with senior club officials.
Sources indicate that the relationship between Maresca and the club’s hierarchy had deteriorated in recent weeks, prompting the Premier League side to take the decision to move on.
Chelsea are now expected to turn to Strasbourg manager Liam Rosenior as Maresca’s successor. Rosenior is understood to be highly regarded within the club following his impressive work in France.
Confirming the development, football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano wrote on X that Chelsea will appoint a new manager swiftly. He noted that the process will not drag on, adding that Rosenior is among the leading candidates and a final decision is expected within days.
