The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has recorded its first polling unit victory in the ongoing Ekiti State governorship election.
The party emerged victorious at Ajagbala Hall Polling Unit in Okeruku Ward 02, Ikere Local Government Area of the state.
According to the result sheet sighted by our correspondent, the ADC secured 39 votes, defeating the All Progressives Congress (APC), which polled 29 votes.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) finished third with 17 votes in the polling unit.
Earlier, the ADC governorship candidate, Dare Bejide, had raised concerns over alleged acts of violence against his supporters during the election.
Meanwhile, results from various polling units across the state have started trickling in as the collation process continues.
