Naomi Sheehan, the wife of Irish actor Michael Patrick, best known for his role in the hit TV series Game of Thrones, has narrated how the actor died.
She revealed she had been battling Motor Neuron Disease for the past three years.
In a heartfelt tribute, Sheehan described her late husband as an inspiration to many, praising his resilience and the positivity he maintained despite his illness. She recalled his warmth, lively spirit, and ability to uplift those around him.
“Words can’t capture the depth of our heartbreak. Mick inspired everyone fortunate enough to know him, not only during his illness but throughout his entire life. He embraced life fully, with joy, boundless energy, and a contagious sense of humor. He believed the most important things in life are simple: to eat, to drink, and to be loved. So don’t overthink it—eat, drink, and love,” she said.
Patrick’s death has left family, friends, and fans in mourning, as he is remembered not only for his on-screen talent but also for his remarkable character and enduring spirit.
