Tragedy has struck Fufore Local Government Area of Adamawa State following the death of its chairman, Yahya Saidu, barely 18 months after his predecessor, Shuaibu Babas, died while in office.
The death of Saidu was confirmed on Saturday by Aliyu Wakili, a member of the House of Representatives representing Fufore/Song Federal Constituency, in a condolence message shared on Facebook.
Wakili described the death of the council chairman as a major loss to the people of Fufore and Adamawa State.
He also prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive Saidu’s shortcomings, accept his good deeds and grant him eternal rest.
“His passing is a great loss to the people of Fufore and Adamawa State at large.
“May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and grant his family, friends, associates, and the entire people of Fufore the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss,” Wakili stated.
Wakili further prayed for Allah to grant the deceased’s family, friends, associates and the people of Fufore the strength and patience to bear the loss.
