Liverpool has reportedly made a decision on the future of manager Arne Slot following their 2-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
According to UK outlet Metro, the Reds are not planning to part ways with the Dutch coach and are keen to retain him ahead of next season.
Slot, who took over from Jurgen Klopp in 2024, enjoyed a successful debut campaign, guiding Liverpool to the Premier League title. However, his second season has proved more challenging.
Liverpool currently sits fifth in the league table, just one point above Chelsea, with their title hopes all but over. Their Champions League campaign also hangs in the balance, as they must overturn a two-goal deficit against the defending champions to progress.
Despite the dip in form and growing speculation linking the club with former midfielder Xabi Alonso, senior club officials are reportedly inclined to stick with Slot for now.
