President Bola Tinubu on Monday assured Nigerians that terrorists and bandits ravaging parts of the country would be crushed through the efforts of the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.
The president praised Ribadu as honest, bold, courageous, and fully committed to his responsibilities.
Tinubu gave the commendation during a visit to Adamawa State, where he expressed strong confidence in the NSA’s leadership and resolve to enhance national security.
He noted that Adamawa people should be proud of Ribadu’s performance, adding that he personally shares that pride and confidence.
The President reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ending insecurity nationwide, stressing that under Ribadu’s guidance, Nigeria would overcome terrorism and banditry.
This comes amid allegations made by the former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, that Ribadu imported poisonous substances into the country.
However, Ribadu had denied El-Rufai’s claim.
