You’re crying because ordinary businessmen aligned—Cubana Chief Priest slams Isaac Fayose

Celebrity businessman and socialite Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has publicly taken aim at social commentator Isaac Fayose following criticism over his political alignment.

Cubana Chief Priest, in a series of strongly worded Instagram posts, responded to remarks allegedly made by Fayose questioning his decision to associate with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

Defending his stance, the entrepreneur said his choice was driven by pragmatism, stressing that as a businessman who employs over 1,000 people, collaboration with the government is more beneficial than opposition.

“Over 30 governors align, and you are crying because an ordinary businessman aligned? Power pass power,” he wrote.

He also challenged Fayose to a public discussion on business, questioning the origin of Fayose’s wealth while referencing the eight-year governorship tenure of Fayose’s brother.

“You want me to negotiate the release of Nnamdi Kanu by being in opposition? I have chosen my path in business and politics,” he stated.

The socialite went on to reaffirm his loyalty to President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, expressing optimism about the president’s political trajectory.

“As for me and my family, we have decided to stay with the moving train, Renewed Hope,” he said.

Cubana Chief Priest further highlighted his investments in hospitality and real estate, particularly within his home community, noting that his ventures have contributed to job creation and economic growth.

He accused Fayose of acting out of jealousy and attempting to lure him into political opposition, insisting that he is “not an activist” but a businessman committed to expansion, development, and strategic partnerships.

Nigerian Newssphere reports that Fayose slammed Igbos as the most greediest Nigerians.
