Candidates sitting for the ongoing 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) have been provided with guidelines on how to access their results.
It was earlier reported that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has begun releasing results for candidates who took part in Thursday’s examination.
JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, disclosed via his official X handle that the results would be made available on Friday night.
The board is expecting no fewer than 2.2 million candidates to participate in the examination nationwide from the first day through its conclusion.
How to check UTME results:
Candidates are required to send either “UTME RESULT” or “UTMERESULT” in capital letters to 55019 or 66019.
The message must be sent using the exact phone number used during registration, as no other number will be accepted.
Additionally, the line must have a minimum airtime balance of N50 to successfully complete the request.
