Nigerian and Atalanta forward, Ademola Lookman has decided to join Atletico Madrid this winter transfer window.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Lookman has informed all parties about his desire to prioritize the Atletico Madrid proposal despite Fenerbahçe’s improved salary bid.
Verbal agreement on a €40million deal has also been agreed for Lookman’s signature, and formal steps are expected to take place today.
This comes after Atletico Madrid closes in on a deal to bring Lookman to the Spanish LaLiga.
Lookman is expected to leave Atalanta and has been linked with both Atletico Madrid and Fenerbahce.
The Nigerian international has also attracted interest from Galatasaray.
