Nigerian content creator and influencer, Tunde Perry, has raised concerns over the continued detention of popular streamer and content creator, Peller, by the police.
Tunde made the claim amid growing concerns from fans over Peller’s absence from social media.
According to him, Peller was arrested on Friday while returning home from a content shoot in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
He alleged that the streamer was stopped and arrested for driving a vehicle with tinted windows and without a number plate.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session, Tunde said, “Peller has been in police station since Friday. He is still there till now. That is why he has not been online. The incident happened in Lekki, but it has now been transferred to Ikeja.”
Nigerian Newssphere reports that Peller’s arrest reportedly came just minutes after he had an encounter with suspected area boys at the shooting location, where they allegedly demanded N250,000 from him.
A check by Nigerian Newssphere also showed that Peller’s last social media post was made on Friday, lending further weight to concerns over his whereabouts.
Tunde’s revelation has since sparked reactions online, with fans calling for clarification from the authorities regarding the circumstances surrounding the content creator’s continued detention.
