Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has disclosed his ambition to one day manage Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Chelle said he hopes to make history as the first African coach to take charge of the LaLiga powerhouse. He made the revelation during an interview with French broadcaster RMC Sport.
“My dream is to become the first African coach to manage Real Madrid,” Chelle said.
The Malian tactician has been enjoying a strong run with Nigeria, having guided the Super Eagles to a third-place finish at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco last month.
Nigeria won all but one of their matches at the tournament, with their only defeat coming in a dramatic semi-final loss to host nation Morocco on penalties.
