Viktor Gyokeres scored twice as Arsenal secured a comfortable 3–0 victory over Sunderland in Saturday’s Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners took the lead just before the break when Martin Zubimendi found the net in the 42nd minute. Gyokeres then sealed the win with goals in the 66th minute and deep into stoppage time at 90+4.
The victory keeps Mikel Arteta’s side firmly at the top of the Premier League table with 56 points, extending their lead to nine points over second-placed Manchester City, who face Liverpool on Sunday.
