Embattled Nollywood star Regina Daniels has stirred major controversy after alleging that her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, is in possession of her private bedroom tape.
Daniels made the claim while reacting to Nwoko’s public accusation that she was involved in drug abuse. The actress took to Instagram to refute the allegation, insisting that the narrative was deliberately crafted to destroy her reputation.
According to her, she had placed total trust in Nwoko during their marriage, even to the extent of sharing her most private and vulnerable moments with him.
“Yes, the world now believes Regina Daniels did drugs because that is the story my husband pushed,” she wrote. “I trusted you completely — even with my sex tape. I only pray it never gets leaked. You were always one step ahead of me negatively.”
Daniels said she married Nwoko at 17, stressing that she had no history of substance use before the relationship. She accused the senator of ruining her name and image, but vowed to rebuild her story and reputation.
“My name may be dented for now, but I will rewrite my narrative,” she declared.
Regina Daniels concluded by announcing that she is prepared to take the battle to court, saying she will “fight with all of me.”
