Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has stirred widespread concern after sharing a series of emotional posts on social media in which she opened up about profound personal challenges and accused popular cleric Chris Okafor of playing a role in her distress.
In a video circulated online, the actress appeared visibly shaken as she revealed that she has been struggling to cope with a string of traumatic experiences that have taken a toll on her mental and emotional wellbeing. Fighting back tears, Ogala said she has not been in a good place and described her situation as overwhelming.
She recounted alleged miscarriages, her arrest and detention following public accusations she previously made against Okafor, as well as painful experiences from her marriage. According to her, one of the most distressing moments was returning home to discover her husband’s alleged mistress and child.
Ogala said the weight of these experiences has been more than she feels anyone should be expected to endure, stressing that what she has gone through is far from normal.
In subsequent posts, the actress expressed deep exhaustion and despair, further heightening concern among fans, colleagues and members of the public. She also made a public appeal to a family member, Emeka, urging him to reach out to her.
The posts have since sparked an outpouring of reactions online, with many offering messages of support and calling for those close to the actress to check on her wellbeing.
“I This is not okay. None of what I’ve been through is okay,” she said in the video, struggling to hold back tears.
Shortly after, Ogala shared another post that further intensified concerns among fans and colleagues.
“I may not be alive for a long time.
“Chris Okafor has done so many bad things to me that I may not be able to speak. I am tired of hanging on.
“Everything is not okay,” she wrote.
