Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen has revealed his all-time favorite Super Eagles five-a-side lineup.
The 27-year-old striker made the selection during a quick-fire interview with Bleacher Report Football, where he was asked to choose his preferred Nigerian players by position.
Osimhen’s picks were dominated by former Super Eagles stars, with only one active international making the list.
For the goalkeeper position, he chose former captain Vincent Enyeama. In defense, Osimhen selected Fulham center-back Calvin Bassey, his only current national teammate and someone he has played alongside, including at the recently concluded AFCON.
In midfield, the Napoli-born striker opted for the legendary pairing of Austin “Jay-Jay” Okocha and former Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi. His attacking choices were Nigerian icons Nwankwo Kanu and Odion Ighalo.
The selection highlights Osimhen’s admiration for past and present Super Eagles greats who have left lasting marks on Nigerian football.
