The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has cut its petrol price for the third time this December, reducing the pump price from N915 to N835 per liter, a drop of N80.
Nigerian Newssphere correspondent confirmed the new price at filling stations in Abuja on Thursday. The move follows earlier price reviews by MRS, BOVAS, and AA Rano, whose petrol now sells between N739 and N865 per liter in the capital.
The reductions come after Dangote Refinery and depot owners lowered their ex-depot prices to between N699 and N800 per liter. NNPCL and other stations previously reduced fuel prices on December 4 and 10, 2025.
