1.Governor Seyi Makinde reportedly convened an emergency meeting with key stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State on Monday. 2.The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) is set to arraign former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai before both federal and state high courts in Kaduna over alleged corruption-related offences. In a statement issued on Monday, the Commission said El-Rufai and one Joel Adoga would be arraigned at the Federal High Court in the Kaduna Judicial Division on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

3.The Kwankwasiyya Movement has confirmed that the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) National Leader and 2023 presidential flagbearer, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is in talks with the African Democratic Congress and the National Democratic Congress. The movement’s spokesperson II, Mansur Kurugu, disclosed this to Daily Trust on Monday, noting that the discussions could lead to a possible alignment of the platforms.

4.Security operatives have raided the residence of former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami. Malami, who has been in detention over alleged money laundering, was recently granted bail.

5. Suspected terrorists on Monday bombed a bridge along Luma Road in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State in an attempt to disrupt troop movement in ongoing counter-insurgency operations. The incident reportedly occurred around 2 a.m., with sources indicating that the damaged bridge connects the Luma, Babana, and Agwara communities, areas that have faced repeated attacks in recent
