Laila Charani, the Moroccan wife of Senator Ned Nwoko, has accused her co-wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, of introducing her to drug use and engaging in same-sex relationships.
Charani made the allegations in an Instagram post on Thursday, following Regina Daniels’ claims that other wives in the family were involved in drugs — an offshoot of the ongoing marital feud involving the Nwokos.
According to Laila, Regina Daniels was the one who exposed her to drugs six years ago, but her husband’s quick intervention helped her recover and save her marriage.
“You know too well that I almost lost my marriage when you introduced me to drugs six years ago, and it was my husband’s quick insistence on intervention that rescued me from that dark path,” she wrote.
Laila also accused Regina of influencing domestic staff negatively and engaging in sexual relationships with women around her.
“You have been a bad influence since you married into this beautiful family — giving drugs to nannies, workers, and even your younger sister, Destiny. You were sleeping with every single girl around you,” she alleged.
She further claimed that the real reason for Regina’s current disagreement with Senator Nwoko is his demand for her to quit drugs and alcohol, adding that the lawmaker neither smokes nor drinks.
Charani advised Regina to seek professional help and stop involving other wives in her issues with their husband.
As of press time, Regina Daniels had not responded to Laila Charani’s allegations.
