Nigerian music star Davido has responded sharply to singer T-Dot after being labelled a “daddy’s boy” in the ongoing social media clash involving Wizkid’s disc jockey, DJ Tunez.
The drama began after DJ Tunez reposted Wizkid’s gym photo in an outfit similar to one earlier worn by Davido, captioning it, “Original, no be fake.” The post was widely perceived as a subtle jab at Davido.
Davido reacted angrily, referencing DJ Tunez’s recent altercation with Burna Boy. In a string of posts, he wrote, “You’re just a disgusting nasty fellow. Dem use boots to carry your steeze forever. Idiot, e wa woo! Look, he’s on the floor.”
T-Dot, however, came to DJ Tunez’s defense, insisting the DJ was not defeated and had shown courage despite being outnumbered. He also took a swipe at Davido, writing:
“Tunez can never lose his steeze for that. He was 1vs10 and punched your besty right in the mouth when he saw they meant him harm. Where I’m from, that shows heart. You never stood anywhere on this earth, 10 toes down, without your dad’s money, security, and your boys.”
In response, Davido dismissed the recurring criticism about his background and fired back at T-Dot, stating:
“Your daddy, your daddy, nah, the only thing Una knows … why ur papa no hustle … Shut up and slide for Tunez. Na frustration you see inherit from your papa e reach to dey vex.”
The heated exchange has further intensified tensions within Nigeria’s music scene, sparking widespread reactions across social media platforms.
