Popular Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has expressed her views on the leading causes of marital breakdown, placing much of the blame on men.
According to the actress, men account for about 95 percent of failed marriages, citing neglect, infidelity, betrayal, and emotional abuse as major factors responsible for divorces.
Ogbodo shared her opinion via her Instagram page, where she wrote, “Men contribute 95 percent in failed marriages. Many marriages fail because a significant number of men neglect, cheat on, devalue, emotionally harm, emotionally stress, or betray their wives.”
She further noted that a lack of accountability in relationships and society at large has continued to encourage such behavior.
Uche Ogbodo is currently in her second marriage. She tied the knot with her partner, Boby Maris, in October 2023. Her first marriage to Norway-based football agent, Ato Ubby, ended barely a year after it was contracted in 2013.
