TikTok personality Jarvis has announced the end of her relationship with fellow influencer Hamzat Habeeb, popularly known as Peller.
Jarvis made the disclosure during a live broadcast on Tuesday, amid growing reactions to Peller’s recent hospitalisation following a crash on the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos, which reportedly occurred during a livestream.
Addressing online comments linking the accident to their relationship, Jarvis said the ridicule circulating on social media was worsening an already painful situation. She urged the public to stop mocking Peller, noting that some of the reactions lacked empathy.
She explained that the incident should not be used to judge Peller’s character, stressing that she had never portrayed him as a bad person. According to her, Peller’s main challenge is emotional regulation rather than malicious intent.
“Yes, he cannot control his emotions. That’s the problem. I can control mine, but he can’t control his. We need to join hands together to help him,” she said.
Confirming the breakup, Jarvis stated that the decision was necessary and should not be seen as abandonment or hostility. She described Peller as a kind person and admitted that she did not wish for the relationship to end.
“The relationship is not the thing now. It’s not about going back to who we were,” she said. “The solution is for us to put our heads together to help him become better. It’s not space because we are not talking; it’s space from the relationship. It is over for now.”
Her comments have continued to generate mixed reactions across social media platforms.
Recall that Peller crashed his car recently in Lagos state over alleged break-up with Jarvis.
