Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has finally responded to comments made by Grammy-nominated artist Seun Kuti.
Seun Kuti had recently criticized Wizkid and his fan base during a series of livestreams, repeatedly taking shots at the award-winning singer.
Breaking his silence amid the backlash, Wizkid addressed the remarks on both Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).
On his Instagram story, the singer dismissed Seun Kuti’s comments, writing:“I big pass your papa!! Wetin you don do? I’m Big Wiz everyday.”
He followed up with a more extended response on X, where he wrote:
“Ok everybody better pass Wizkid! Can we all sleep now? Fela fight for freedom, this fool dey fight FC!”
The exchange has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with fans of both artistes weighing in on the heated war of words.
