Online banking services of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) were disrupted on Thursday, leaving customers unable to carry out transactions.
According to Nigerian Newssphere, the disruption began around 1 p.m., with several users reporting difficulties accessing the bank’s digital platforms.
The bank later acknowledged the issue in a response to customers on X, assuring them that efforts were underway to resolve the problem.
“We understand how you feel, especially in your current situation. Please be assured that the issue is being addressed urgently, and service will be restored as soon as possible. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience,” the bank stated.
