The Benue State Governor is allegedly plotting to replace his deputy, Barr Sam Ode with a new face.
Reports indicate that the governor has concluded plans to pick House of Representatives member for Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency, Ojuto Ojema, as the running mate for the 2027 election.
The decision was allegedly finalized during a recent meeting at the Och’Idoma palace in Otukpo, Benue State.
It was gathered on Friday that the lawmaker, who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP is presently being wooed to return to the All Progressives Congress, APC ahead of the election.
