Europa League: 12 Clubs eliminated from competition[Full List]

Twelve clubs have been eliminated from the UEFA Europa League following the conclusion of the group stage on Thursday night.

The teams knocked out of the competition are Young Boys, Sturm Graz, FCSB, Go Ahead Eagles, Feyenoord, Basel, and RB Salzburg. Others that failed to progress include Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Malmö, Utrecht, Nice, and Rangers.

 

The Norwegian side Brann secured the final playoff spot for the knockout phase after edging out Young Boys on goal difference.

 

The eliminated clubs all finished between 25th and 36th positions in the standings. Under the revised UEFA competition format, they will not drop into another European tournament and are now completely out of continental action for the season.
