EPL table: Arsenal restore seven-point lead after massive 4-0 win at Leeds

Arsenal bounced back from last week’s 3-2 defeat to Manchester United with a commanding 4-0 victory over Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday.

The loss to United had seen the Gunners’ advantage at the top of the Premier League table trimmed to four points. However, Mikel Arteta’s side responded in style, extending their lead once again.

Fresh from a midweek UEFA Champions League win over Kairat Almaty, Arsenal took control early in the contest. Martin Zubimendi opened the scoring in the first half, heading home a fine cross from Noni Madueke.

The visitors doubled their advantage before the break when Leeds goalkeeper Karl Darlow inadvertently turned the ball into his own net.

Arsenal maintained their dominance after halftime, with Viktor Gyokeres and Gabriel Magalhaes adding further goals to seal a comprehensive win.

The result sees the Gunners re-establish a seven-point cushion at the summit of the table, ahead of second-placed Manchester City’s clash with Tottenham
