Aloy Ejimakor, legal consultant to Nnamdi Kanu, has urged restraint among supporters, calling on Ndigbo to be mindful of their social media conduct.
In a post on X on Thursday, Ejimakor appealed for unity and discipline, stressing that Kanu, who remains in detention, should not be burdened by online controversies or internal divisions.
He emphasized that, irrespective of political differences or affiliations, supporters owe Kanu.
“Dear #Ndigbo: Regardless of your affiliation, faction, or politics, desist from troubling MAZI NNAMDI KANU with what you post on social media. A man in prison (for your sake) deserves his peace, maximum cooperation & every support & loyalty he can get, especially from his base,” he wrote on X.
The statement appears aimed at calming tensions within pro-Biafra circles and discouraging actions that could complicate Kanu’s legal or personal circumstances while in custody following his life imprisonment sentence by the Nigerian government.
