Former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, has arrived at the Federal High Court in Abuja for his arraignment over alleged certificate forgery charges filed by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
Nnaji, dressed in a white outfit and wearing a red cap, acknowledged supporters and other attendees by raising his right hand as he entered the courtroom on Monday.
The ICPC is expected to formally arraign the former minister on charges bordering on alleged certificate forgery and making false statements in documents submitted to public authorities.
The anti-graft agency had arrested Nnaji on July 1, 2026, shortly after he arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
He was reportedly apprehended with the assistance of the Department of State Services (DSS) before being handed over to the ICPC for further investigation.
The case is expected to commence with the reading of the charges before the Federal High Court.
