Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim has been sacked following his public criticism of the club’s leadership.
The decision comes after Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Leeds United, during which the Portuguese coach launched a scathing attack on the club hierarchy in a tense post-match press conference, urging them to “do their jobs.”
Amorim, 40, departs Old Trafford after a turbulent 14-month spell marked by inconsistent results and growing internal tensions.
United are currently sixth in the Premier League table after 20 matches, falling short of expectations set at the start of the season.
