Former Minister of Petroleum and ex-governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
He is wanted for his alleged involvement in a case of “conspiracy and dishonest conversion of $14,859257, part of fund injected by the Nigerian Content Development and monitoring board, NCDMB into Atlantic International Refinery and Petrochemical Limited for the construction of a refinery”.
The commission urged anyone with useful information about the former Minister’s whereabouts to any of its offices across the country.
