Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Joanna, has dismissed claims by fellow ex-housemate Jason Jae that they had a “one-night stand” during their time in Biggie’s house.
It would be recalled that Joanna and Jason shared an intimate moment on the night before her eviction. However, viewers were left uncertain about what transpired after the cameras shifted away from the scene.
Following the show, Jason described the incident as a “one-night stand” during an interview.
Speaking during the second episode of the reunion, which aired on Tuesday night, Joanna refuted the claim, insisting that nothing intimate happened between them.
According to her, Jason came to her bed while she was emotional over Thelma’s eviction, and she merely noticed that he was physically aroused and attempted to cover him up.
“The very first interview Jason Jae had, he claimed that the incident was a ‘one-night thing’. I was shocked like, ‘Are you a baby?’
“I was sleeping when he came to my bed. I was very emotional because it was the night Thelma got evicted. I woke up to see him in my bed. He was hard as rock. I noticed it and I tried to cover him up. Only for him to go out and say we had a one-night stand,” Joanna said.
In response, Jason apologised for suggesting they had a one-night stand. However, he maintained that he was never romantically interested in Joanna.
He also rejected Joanna’s allegation that he pursued her as a rebound after being rejected by Dede, insisting that was not the case.
