Popular Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has opened up about her readiness for marriage, stressing that kindness, not wealth or status, is her top priority in choosing a life partner.
Speaking during a candid conversation with media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown, the actress described genuine kindness as a non-negotiable quality for her, noting that it outweighs material possessions or social standing.
Isime explained that she would not hesitate to marry a kind man, even if he has shortcomings in other areas, as long as the foundation of the relationship is rooted in good character. According to her, other deficiencies can be worked on over time.
The movie star also made it clear that she feels prepared for marriage at this stage of her life, revealing that she is now 34 years old.
“I am of marriage age. I am 34. Yes, I am a very attractive lady, and men can desire me, but I have to be careful about what I settle for,” she said. “Kindness is one of the most attractive traits to me. It has to be genuine, not performative. Once you are kind, every other thing can be worked on.”
