Arsenal W.F.C. has confirmed that Beth Mead will leave the club at the end of the season after nine years with the Gunners.
Mead’s departure comes as her current contract expires, bringing an end to a successful spell in north London during which she won six major trophies, including the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
The England forward has recently been linked with a move to Manchester City W.F.C., where her partner and former Arsenal striker Vivianne Miedema currently plays.
The 31-year-old leaves Arsenal after making 258 appearances and scoring 83 goals for the club.
Mead will also have the opportunity to bid farewell to supporters when Arsenal host Everton F.C. Women in their final home game of the season on Wednesday night.
Earlier on Monday, Arsenal also confirmed that defenders Laia Codina and Victoria Pelova will leave the club at the end of the campaign.
