Hollywood has unveiled the nominations for the 97th Academy Awards 2026.
American movie, Sinners emerged as the biggest contender, securing a record-breaking 16 nominations — the highest in Oscar history. The feat sees the film surpass the long-standing record of 14 nominations jointly held by All About Eve (1950), Titanic (1997) and La La Land (2016), cementing its status as the standout title of this awards season.
Trailing behind is One Battle After Another with 13 nominations, while Marty Supreme, Frankenstein and Sentimental Value each earned nine nods. Hamnet also impressed with eight nominations across major categories.
The 97th Academy Awards ceremony will hold on March 15, with U.S. comedian Conan O’Brien set to host the globally watched event.
