Afrobeats star Davido has responded to Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo after the governor mocked his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, over his dancing at public events.
Hours after Okpebholo’s remarks went viral, Davido shared what appeared to be the governor’s WAEC result on his Instagram Story without a caption.
The document, which could not be independently verified, showed several low grades, including D7 and E8 in some subjects.
Davido had also traded words with Bashir Ahmad, a former presidential aide to late President Muhammadu Buhari, over the Osun election.
Nigerian Newssphere reports the Singer, Davido has at fonfront in support for his uncle, who is seeking re-election.
Recall that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had frozen the Osun State Government account domiciled with First Bank barely days before the August 15, 2026, gubernatorial election.
However, following public outrage, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu directed the EFCC to vacate the court order freezing the Osun State Government’s account.
