Dangote Refinery on Wednesday increased its gantry petrol price for the second time in seven days.
Checks by Nigerian Newssphere on the latest petrol price showed that the 650,000-barrel-per-day refinery raised its fuel price to N1,350 per liter, up from N1,275 per liter.
This means that the refinery adjusted its gantry fuel price by N75.
Recall that barely a week ago, Dangote Refinery had increased its petrol price to N1275 amid an upsurge in crude oil prices as a result of the Middle East crisis.
Since February 2026, when the war between Iran and the United States-Israel escalated, crude oil price volatility has impacted world economies, including Nigeria’s.
This comes as retail fuel prices have doubled to between N1,365 and N1,440 as of the time of filing this report.
