Nollywood actress and producer Laide Bakare has revealed that she is set to walk down the aisle for the third time.
Speaking in a recent interview with content creator Akin Abolade, the movie star said the upcoming union would be her first “official” marriage, despite having been married twice in the past.
“I will soon be getting married officially for the first time ever,” she said, adding that preparations for the ceremony are already underway.
However, the actress did not disclose the identity of her fiancé or the date for the wedding.
Bakare’s first marriage was to US-based businessman Olumide Okufulure, with whom she has a daughter, Simi. Following their separation, she remarried Mutairu Atanda Orilowo in 2012, and the union produced two sons.
She later exited the second marriage after Orilowo was reportedly declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in 2018.
