Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has said that his administration will remain focused on delivering tangible results, insisting that his performance — not propaganda — will speak for him ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking during a media event in Umuahia, the state capital, Otti said he would not allow political distractions from those “seeking attention,” expressing concern over what he described as the opposition’s use of malicious propaganda due to desperation for power.
The governor highlighted key achievements since assuming office, including the issuance of over 10,562 Certificates of Occupancy to property owners across the state.
Reaffirming his commitment to what he called a “developmental revolution,” Otti said his administration would sustain its focus on governance and infrastructure renewal.
He announced plans for extensive road construction and reconstruction projects, noting that contractors have been mandated to complete key works before the end of the dry season.
“Construction work, which slowed down at some point, has resumed with speed,” Otti said. “We will continue to give attention to our contractors as we advance the state’s infrastructure development.”
Otti added that the results of his administration’s efforts are already becoming visible, assuring residents that Abia will witness accelerated progress in the months ahead.
