Social media personality, Isaac Fayose, has declared that the 2027 presidential election will revolve solely around the former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi.
Fayose, made the assertion in a post on his Facebook page on Thursday while reacting to the massive crowd that turned out during the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, area council campaign featuring Obi.
According to Fayose, the level of support shown during the campaign indicates that Obi remains the central figure ahead of the 2027 polls.
“Humongous crowd turns out for Peter Obi during FCT council poll campaign. It’s Peter Obi or nothing. E go loud,” he wrote.
Nigerian Newssphere reports that Obi on Monday campaigned for candidates of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, ahead of the forthcoming FCT area council elections.
Speaking during the campaign, Obi said the exercise was aimed at engaging directly with grassroots communities and promoting a leadership approach anchored on service, accountability and good governance.
