Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes has named England as the country to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup trophy.
Scholes said the Three Lions have a great team and a brilliant head coach in the person of Thomas Tuchel.
He believes Tuchel is the man who will help England ‘get over the line’ and win the World Cup in 2026.
“I really think they will win the World Cup, I do honestly,” Scholes said on The Good, The Bad & The Football.
“I think they are a great team. Now look, they have got to still beat the teams they probably don’t expect to beat, which they have not done, but I think the manager is brilliant as well.
“I think this manager is the one who could get them over the line,” he stated.
This is coming after England defeated Albania 2-0 in the World Cup qualifier on Sunday to end their qualifying campaign with a perfect record.
